Israeli citrus honey

A spring honey from the blossom of the citrus groves on Israel's coastal plain. It is one of the lightest Israeli honeys and was long the country's most common.

Colour varies by year and place; the value given is typical.
Around 1990 it made up some 70% of Israel's honey output, but the groves between Hadera and Gedera that supplied it have largely given way to building.
