Prunus (cherry, plum, almond)

Trees and shrubs of the rose family, chiefly from the temperate northern hemisphere: cherries, plums, apricots and almonds. They flower early in spring, and their nectar and pollen help colonies build up after winter, while bees in turn are vital for pollinating the orchards.
