Mahaleb cherry honey
Prunus mahaleb
A rare Italian honey from the white blossom of the mahaleb or St Lucie cherry, which flowers in April and May. It comes from the limestone Karst around Gorizia and Trieste and is dark amber with a reddish tinge.
