Conehead thyme (Thymbra)

Small aromatic subshrubs of the mint family from the Mediterranean; the best known is conehead thyme (Thymbra capitata), which grows on dry, stony hillsides. It bears pink flowers in summer and is the main source of Greek and Maltese thyme honeys.
